Do you feel called to serve the Lord in a very deep and meaningful way? If so, please consider becoming an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion. This ministry will give you the opportunity to assist the priests and deacons in distributing the Precious Body and Blood of Christ to the faithful at Mass. We are in desperate need of Eucharist Ministers at the 5:30 Vigil Mass on Saturday and the 5:00 Youth Mass on Sundays. Many in the ministry also take Holy Communion to assisted living facilities, hospitals, or to those who are homebound in our community.
There will be a training session for Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion on Sunday, July 20 at 2:30 pm. Training will begin in the right-hand side Marion classroom (sacristy side). Please be quiet and respectful as you walk down the side of the church because the Spanish Mass will be in session. Hands-on training will continue in the main church after Mass ends and will conclude at 4:30 pm. For more information, please go to the church website and look for Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion under the Ministries section.
